Hand-built beautiful work.
This body of work experiments with larger hand built organic forms and shapes. A combination of slab and hand coiled pots, refined over several days with metal ribs and rasps, allowing the grog in the clay to come through. The pots are then left to dry slowly over several weeks.
After their first firing they are then covered in several layers of Terra Sigillate, then refired. This finish gives the finished pot a more raw and natural finish.
