Each piece combines new textures, patterns and function within the wood turned and carved wooden object that is his focus.
Creating new heirlooms that celebrate craftsmanship, honour his own roots and cherish natural resources given by mother earth.

The inspiration for this show came from multiple requests for ash urns from individuals wanting to memorise their loved ones. Witnessing the initial overwhelming emotions inspired the artist, reminding him of the sheer joy of creating. The urn, along with boxes in general, became a special object that could hold cherished memories for both the creator and the eventual user.
