Veronique Desmet is a Belgian artist currently living in New Zealand.
This work is named after the place, in NZ, the tree was growing on. I had a
connection with that tree as I was living on the property for 13 years. It did slowly fall after ahavy rain.
Each piece of the work has been burned individualy in an open fire and then put together. Itdoes encapsulate time.
A playful action takes on a relationship.
