Alexander Lindesay^[0]

Alexander Lindesay was born in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, and moved Sydney, Australia at the young age. His art making has its roots in photography which he has been developing over the last 10 years. Now he has been settled back in Auckland. 

His work aims to explore the connection between the inner landscape of self and the physical spaces we inhabit. He is interested in the duality that coexists underneath the  surface of detail. 

He use photography as a base reality and then intentionally work to obscure, texturise, and / or abstract the image using various methods of manipulating. 

He wish to evoke a language that intersects both the 'real and the imagined.
