Lisa Bate's glass have been made by up-cycling materials that would otherwise be considered waste material.
A continuation of the Suspended Deposits series ( Glass work won the First place award in the 17th Estuary Arts Award 2023) The outflow of glass during a kiln firing has caused the glasses to marge on the kiln shelf. These works make reference tidal currents and trace pollutants found in sediment inside estuary waterways.
