Marta Katarzyna Buda^[7]

Based in Wellington, New Zealand, Marta is a super talented textile designer who experiments with different mediums and materials in her work. Her unique sensibilities have seen her become a sort after collaborator over the years, working with a number of local artists to produce many notable works.

Marta has become well known for her beautiful hand woven bags produced the traditional way on her loom using only natural fibres such as hemp and organic cotton. Her natural sensibility with colour is reflected in work.
