Veronique Desmet is a Belgian artist currently living in New Zealand.
This work is named after the place, in NZ, the tree was growing on the land the artist lived near by. She had a connection with that tree as She was going to the place regularly. One day, after a storm, the tree falled so then chop it. She experimented with the particularities of this wood and this work came up.
A playful action takes on a relationship.
