yanghyeonjun is a South Korea-based clothing maker behind his namesake label, built on a philosophy of creating garments through a reductive process to a piece of cloth. He performs every step of the production process himself.

Inspired by the robes of early Buddhist monks, his work deconstructs Western tailoring and reimagines it through the concept of cloth wrapping around the body.

Cleverly constructed to fit/drape nicely around the body with essential sartorial details.

This shirt is constructed from a single piece of fabric, with the body panels connected by buttons. The fabric grain of the back panel smoothly transitions into a bias cut on the front, wrapping naturally around the body.

The curved neckline traditionally found in shirts has been removed, and instead, each body panel is connected around the neck with buttons, creating a natural yet rugged flow. The cuffs are interfaced with the same fabric as the shirt, finished with hidden hand stitching to ensure the seams are not visible on the outside.

Additionally, the cuffs are designed to be naturally folded by the loop and the button.
