It is carved off from a fresh, chunky Elm timber(around 48cm in diameter when wet) and then left to warp to obtain an organic form. Please note that there is a subtle beautiful deformation in this piece and we consider it a beautiful & unique character. This piece will deliver the tactile experience and wabi sabi aesthetic into your space.
Big cracks are reinforced with resin and bow tie & wooden nail inlays. However, the form will not be greatly changed at this stage and it presents great aesthetics.
