Ceramic Candleholder Workshop with Iza Lozano
Come and join this session to get mesmerised by texture while creating a ceramic candleholder with current exhibiting artist Iza Lozano.
In this workshop, you will be making a candleholder by modelling and carving a block of stoneware clay utilising kurinuki technique, and then finish it using stones and other tools in order to experiment with the surface.
This workshop is suitable for all levels of clay experience, including beginners.
Includes clay, use of tools and firing.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own tools and “texturisers”.
Also we could call it “stoneware candleholder workshop”.
The clay is a grey stoneware w iron sand for speckled look.
