Sam’s latest collection of work is precise, thoughtful and expressive. Inspired by multiple commissions to create urns for the ashes of loved ones, Sam experienced anew the thrill, beauty and meaning-making of his craft.

Each piece combines new textures, patterns and function within the wood turned and carved wooden object that is his focus.

Creating new heirlooms that celebrate craftsmanship, honour his own roots and cherish natural resources given by mother earth.
